LED FAQs
-
Think of it as a gentle skin reset using different wavelengths of light to help target concerns like acne, redness, and signs of ageing. No needles, no downtime, just light-powered skincare magic.
-
Absolutely you can! Doubling up your brow/lash appointment with LED is in fact encouraged, because you will feel so damn good afterwards. LED will not impact the results of your other beauty treatments.
-
100% yes, but consistency is everything. LED supports skin healing and clarity over time, rather than giving an instant “one-and-done” transformation.
-
Not even close. It’s completely non-invasive, no discomfort, just a calm, relaxing glow session. Some people may experience a slight warmth and therefore some flushing, but this is a very mild reaction and completey normal!
-
Some people notice a fresh glow even after the first session, but real skin changes (like acne improvement or texture smoothing) usually build over a few weeks. It really depends on what skin concerns you’re wanting to target, and how extreme they are.
-
Blue light is the acne-fighting hero, helping to target acne-causing bacteria and calm breakouts over time. LED in conjunction with your acne fighting skincare routine will work wonders and will boost the effects rapidly.
-
Red and yellow light is your skin-soothing bestie, helping to calm inflammation and support healing for sensitive or reactive skin.
-
Generally, yes! LED is considered gentle and suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin.
-
Very minimal. Some people may experience slight temporary dryness or sensitivity, but it’s usually mild and short-lived.
-
Yes and this is supplied by us!

In-clinic devices are typically stronger and more targeted, while at-home devices can be good for maintenance between professional sessions. If you are using an at-home device, generally you must use it everyday over a long period of time to notice results. An in studio treatment will give you results over a shorter period of time, with less sessions required.
-
This completely depends on what your skin needs. If you are having a really active acne or dermatitis flare, 2-4 sessions per week for 1-4 weeks will result in significant improvement. To maintain the results, doing a session every 2-4 weeks is recommended.
If you are using LED as a simple aging preventative and want to make sure you are having regular skin cell turnover for a more radiant and smooth complexion, 1 session every 2-4 weeks is the sweet spot.
-
It’s considered non-invasive and safe, but it’s always best to check with a healthcare professional before starting any treatment during pregnancy, especially if you are experiencing other sensitivities.
-
If you’re after a gentle, no-downtime treatment that supports clearer, calmer and more radiant skin, it is an excellent addition to your routine.
-

LED should not be used directly over undiagnosed or untreated lesions
Current cancer treatment (in or near the treatment area)
please seek medical clearance beforehand

You just have to arrive makeup and skincare free! On the lead up to the appointment and post treatment you can do all of your usual things.
-
You sure can! We do recommend leaving your skin makeup free for at least 4 hours post treatment to let it continue to work its magic for the best results.
-
Results can fade gradually if you stop completely, because LED supports ongoing skin function rather than permanently changing it.
